Vampire Survivors DLC The Legacy of Moonspell confirmed for Android

The Vampire Survivors DLC, The Legacy Of The Moonspell launches today on PC and consoles, but the Android version was suspiciously absent. But don’t worry, as developer Poncle confirmed in a tweet that it’s coming a little later.

If you played Vampire Survivors until you got blisters on your thumbs this week, you’re probably not alone. The devilishly simple gothic rogue-esque goes perfectly with mobile gaming.

RIP your free time

It’s pretty compulsive play, so you could be forgiven for browsing through the content and seeing a lot of what the game already has to offer.

You could also be forgiven for thinking it would take some time for the new port to catch up with the PC release in terms of content. It seems that Poncle is out to prove us wrong.

The Vampire Survivors DLC for Android has no confirmed release date. Poncle’s word is a “soon” release. You can interpret that statement however you like.

Legacy Of The Moonspell is Vampire Survivors’ first DLC, and as you’d expect from the game, it’s a meaty chunk of content.

Farther east, still haunted

The DLC takes you to a feudal, Japanese-inspired setting, but as you’d expect from Vampire Survivors, the place is just as monster-infested as its European counterpart.

Legacy Of The Moonspell introduces eight new characters, thirteen new weapons and an absolutely massive new level. It’s twenty-five times the size of any previous stage, so expect to be there for a while.

The trailer for the DLC at the Poncle Games Youtube Channel gives the slightly surreal experience of seeing Vampire Survivors characters fully rendered in some very nice 2D animations, giving their intro a suitably anime feel.

We hope to get our port very soon, although it will probably be a struggle to get through the base game before the drop.
