Tower of Fantasy Impostors Get 10-Year Ban for Spoiling Fun

Nobody likes a cheater, especially not in an online game. With that in mind, severe penalties are coming for the rampant Tower of Fantasy cheaters who plague the online gacha game.
Hotta gets rough with Tower of Fantasy cheaters
After a month of hackers dominating the game, Tower of Fantasy developer Hotta Studios is finally targeting the cheaters. With leaderboards dominated by hackers, it’s about time something happened.
In an announcement on Twitter, Hotta revealed that Tower of Fantasy cheaters will face severe penalties. Previously, the team banned 1000 cheaters with simple character wipes. This time the punishment is much worse.
Tower of Fantasy cheaters will now face a 10-year ban from exploiting the game. Anyone caught using cheating software will face a 10-year account suspension.
In addition, anyone creating in competitive modes will face the same 10-year account suspension. However, they will also be removed from all leaderboards.

Not everything is good
Despite the strict new rules, Hotta explained that it won’t be able to ban every cheater. In fact, the cheat issue is expected to continue for quite some time.
“There will always be new cheating methods that undermine the fairness of the game,” Hotta said. “This is a long-term struggle as we want the help of players to identify our blind spots, so we welcome all Wanderers to report to us all kinds of actions that undermine the fairness of the game through in-game reports or contact customer service, etc. We will deal with them in a timely manner.”
Afterwards, the developer apologized for not being able to fight cheaters earlier. If you think you’ve been banned for cheating, you can find out on the game’s official ban list.
