The Battle of Polytopia is a brilliant turn-based strategy game for mobile devices that has been going strong for a few years now. And today it has been updated with a bunch of new diplomatic options that allow you to take on the world in slightly different ways.
Instead of just going to war, you can now try to work out peace treaties with other tribes, even going as far as building an embassy in an opponent’s territory for the benefit of both sides.
If that doesn’t work, new units will be added. Cloak units are invisible to the other side and Dagger units can be used to infiltrate cities. So you can be diplomatic, and then sting. Here’s a trailer.
Elsewhere, you’ve got Capital Vision that lets you see where all the Captials are, and tribal relationships, so you can figure out who your friends are and who to crush with your military might.
In addition to the new content, the update also includes a ton of tweaks and balances to make sure the game runs as smoothly as possible. And who doesn’t love when everything runs smoothly?
