If you are a fan of both anime and golf, Neko Golf Anime Golf might be the game for you. Making its western debut, the new mobile game aims to bring all the hyper-intensity of anime to the sport of balls.
Neko Golf Anime Golf birdies on mobile
Neko Golf Anime Golf, developed by COLOP, Inc, is now available! The free anime golf title is hosted on the Google Play Store and can be downloaded on your phone or tablet of your choice.
Inspired by Everybody’s Golf, this game features sharp 3D anime visuals. You can customize your playable avatar with a selection of cute, colorful outfits and then head out into the green to hit balls.
Designed exclusively for mobile, you’ll find brilliantly intuitive touch controls. Through a combination of tapping and swiping, you will easily find a rewarding and engaging experience. In fact, in the hour or so that we’ve put into writing this, we didn’t want to stop playing.
Sure there are free-to-play mechanics here, that’s to be expected these days, but they aren’t too blatant. For the most part, customization is monetized in gachas. However, new clubs and upgrading old clubs can also be accelerated with real money.
Still, this is a fun time on mobile. If you want to try it, check it out here in the Google Play Store.

Does it compete with Apple’s exclusives?
Of course, the biggest question is whether Neko Golf Anime Golf is better than Apple’s best exclusive: Clap Hanz Golf. Honestly not exactly as Clap Hanz isn’t stuck with microtransactions.
Outside of its corporate strategy, though, this game of golf is pretty damn good, at least for now. Only time will tell if the game becomes more dependent on spending to succeed, but so far we’re doing pretty well.
Hopefully, Clap Hanz will come to Android one day. Until then, this is the best anime themed golf game on mobile, and it’s pretty fun!
