Need for Speed Mobile races to Private Closed Beta

Do you need speed? What about the need for mobile speeding? Well, if you have that very unethical urge, TiMi Studios’ Need for Speed Mobile is currently starting an extremely specific closed beta.

Join the Need for Speed Mobile beta

Set in an open world – seemingly the same from Need for Speed: Heat – this new racer is the portable NFS game we’ve been waiting for. Unfortunately it is not available to us at the moment.

A leaked video of gameplay from a few months ago — via Game on phone – shows an impressive looking mobile racer. In a 45-second clip, we see super-fast sports cars driving through the streets of Miami.

Developer TiMi Studios has started a private beta for the upcoming game. While the recruitment offer for the new game is public, it is only available to gamers in China. (Or maybe some smart players with VPNs.)

To sign up, go to this signup page. To register successfully, you need a QQ ID. The ability to translate the page into Chinese will also help. If successful, you can receive an invitation to play early this month.

What’s in the beta?

Not much is available in beta at the time of writing. What there is, however, sounds very intriguing to fans of the series.

In addition to the open world, there are special solo tracks for individual challenges. These include huge ramps, loop-the-loops, and more to style up.

As it stands, there are only three cars available to play with. However, they are real, licensed cars. The vehicles included are the McLaren F1, Lamborghini Aventador and the Lamborghini Gallardo.

In this early condition, Need for Speed Mobile looks promising. Yes, it will be tedious to wait for the western – or global – launch, but it looks phenomenal.
