Necropolis brings more chaos from above to mobile

10tons’ fantastic top-down battler Undead Horde gets a sequel. Titled Undead Horde 2: Neceopolis, the Dysmantle devs are aiming to make another comeback with this ambitious sequel.
Originally released in 2019, it’s been three years since Undead Horde graced mobile gamers. Are you excited about this new installment in the series?
Undead Horde 2: Necropolis comes to mobile and more
Undead Horde 2, announced for mobile, PC and consoles, aims to be a massive sequel to its predecessor. With bigger crowds, more enemies, more complex maps and more, this is a true sequel.
Undead Horde’s great mechanic is the revival mechanic. After you kill an enemy, you can bring them back to life to fight alongside you. In the sequel, you can bring hundreds of corpses to life to join your quest.
A picture of the new game trailer depicts a huge horde of followers traveling down an alley. It’s a really impressive feat of AI crowds on mobile, maybe even rivaling TABS Mobile!
In the sequel, there is much more strategy for the resurrection mechanism. You can now use a new Raise Wheel to select which class of fallen enemies you want to revive. Maybe you can get enough small gangs to overwhelm the enemy. On the other hand, a few strong allies could be just as effective.

What about the necropolis?
In Undead Horde 2: Necropolis, your whole goal revolves around the subtitle. In the sequel, people broke into the Necrpolis and stole all the souls. Your task is not only to rebuild the house of the dead, but also to repopulate the house of the dead.
The introduction of the Necropolis adds much more depth to the game. By building up the undead realm, you can unlock a host of new skills to play with.
Undead Horde 2: Necropolis launches next year on PC, console and of course mobile. Sadly, no solid release date has been announced, but we’re excited to resurrect the virtual dead in 2023.
