Last week we let you know that Voodoo Detective is launching on Android later this month. It’s now official later this month as Voodoo Detective is now available on the Play Store. Doesn’t time fly if you’re not really paying attention?
The game is a traditional point-and-click adventure that fans of the classic LucasArts era are sure to fall in love with. Enjoyed Monkey Island? Then you should definitely consider giving this one a try.
Why do you ask that? For starters, the game looks beautiful, all hand-drawn backgrounds and slick animations. There’s humor and quirkiness here too, and a story that will keep you pointing and clicking until the very end. Here’s a trailer.
The action takes place on New Ginen, an island town brimming with Voodoo lore. You play as the titular Voodoo detective and must get to the bottom of all kinds of strange happenings.
The game features a great voice cast, music by Peter McConnell, the composer behind Grim Fandango and Psychonauts, to name just two.
One thing to point out is that all this goodness doesn’t come cheap. Voodoo Detective will set you back $14.99. If you still like to pick it up, you can click here to do just that†
