Love iPhone 13 Mini? SHOCKINGLY, Apple just KILLED iPhone 14 mini

The iPhone 12 mini variant came first and then it came as iPhone 13 mini. Fans loved this iPhone. However, Apple just killed off the iPhone 14 mini.

In a shocking development, it has been revealed that, after the popular iPhone 13 Mini, there will be no iPhone 14 mini! The beloved iPhone Mini model is set to be killed off from the upcoming Apple iPhone 14 lineup. The variant was first launched as the iPhone 12 mini. According to an investor note, unlike iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 series, iPhone 14 Mini will not be a part of Apple’s launch event this year. This year’s iPhone 14 series will see four different models being released – iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Max and iPhone 14 Pro Max. This is definitely sad news for all iPhone Mini fans who liked the smaller size of the smartphone equipped with all the premium features. Not only is the iPhone 13 mini cheaper than the other iPhone 13 models, it is packed with premium specs. That is exactly what made it a fan favourite and it remains to be seen whether the new iPhone in the lineup, iPhone 14 Max, will be able to stand up to the scrutiny of the fans.

The shocking revelation came from a report by MacRumors, which confirmed that there was no iPhone Mini variant in Apple’s iPhone 14 lineup this year. The same has been confirmed by various analysts and Apple tipsters as well. Among them, analyst Jeff Pu and Ming-Chi Kuo, both very reliable Apple leakers, have confirmed the same. But that’s not all. We have also received more information on what to expect in the iPhone 14 lineup.

iPhone 14 Max to replace iPhone 14 Mini this year

iPhone Mini was first launched in November 2020 in Apple’s iPhone 12 series launch and the trend was continued with iPhone 13 series. The smartphone was known for being equipped with all Apple technologies but with a smaller display and a cheaper price. While Apple also launched its iPhone SE, what made iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 13 mini different was that the latter was part of the flagship series and came with all the Apple technologies built into it. On the other hand iPhone SE is intended as a budget iPhone and does not have all the features of iPhone. Now, all signs suggest that the following will be the lineup for this year’s iPhone 14 launch.

1. iPhone 14: 6GB

2. iPhone 14 Pro: 6GB (there are rumors it may get 8GB)

3. iPhone 14 Max: 6GB

4. iPhone 14 Pro Max: 6GB

Apart from the fact that all of the iPhone models will carry the same 6GB RAM, we know some other information too. According to Pu, all iPhone 14 models will sport ProMotion displays as opposed to only Pro models currently. ProMotion allows the user to enable a varying refresh rate of 120 Hz to custom adjust when they want better performance and when they want to preserve the battery life.

Pu also suggested that the iPhone 14 Pro models will be equipped with a 48MP camera and have a starting internal storage of 256GB as opposed to previously rumored 128GB. However, it should be noted that Pu has somewhat of a less reliable track record compared to Kuo when it comes to Apple leaks and we should wait to see what really is announced by Apple.
