iconic K-Pop band BTS are adored by fans around the world, but did you know about the band’s recently released mobile game? BTS Island: In the SEOM recently released on mobile platforms, it is already becoming one of the most popular games out there.

How many people are playing BTS Island: In the SEOM?

Despite only being launched 12 days ago, BTS Island: Into the SEOM is one of the most popular mobile games of the month. Released on both Android and iOS, the recent K-Pop game is steaming its way into the top downloads everywhere. Likewise, BTS often steams its way up the charts… probably.

At the time of writing, the mobile game has over 5 million downloads across all mobile platforms. In just 12 days, the game has managed to get past other anticipated mobile releases like Grimlight on the mobile charts. The BTS guys just have so much play.

But how did the game become so popular? Well, BTS is one of the most loved bands of the moment, and has been for years. In addition, all seven members of the K-Pop group individually requested the application to get more downloads. It sure works.

In addition, BTS Island: In the SEOM is highly rated by players. The mobile game is currently rated 4.9 stars on the Google Play Store, making it one of the top-rated games on the store. While it has some mediocre scores, fans of the band are flocking to support the game.

That’s right, they even made a music video for the game.

What is this game?

We didn’t have time to get too far into BTS Island. However, we can definitely see its appeal from the little bit we played…for research purposes. The game instructs you to travel to the aforementioned private island – who are they, Johnny Depp? – to hang out with all the members of the band.

Rendered in a cute 3D Chibi art style, the game features lots of puzzles and crazy stories for fans of the band. In addition, you get to read countless stories about all seven band members. Personally, we liked V (I think), the klutz of the group.

To be quite honest, BTS Island is not really for us. However, it is very easy to see the appeal for fans of the band. It’s also free, so that’s a huge plus. There’s really no reason not to try it out unless you hate all things BTS. That’s a good reason to avoid.
