Dragalia Lost mobile gacha game won’t last long for this world. After years of delivering expert gacha gameplay on mobile; the game’s servers are shutting down for good.
When does Dragalia Lost stop?
After running since 2018, the partnership with Nintendo x Cygames is ending for good. Despite being one of the top-performing games for Nintendo’s mobile division, its third-party partnership is now coming to an end.
The end of Dragalia Lost has been coming for a while. Announced in March, fans were aware of the impending shutdown, even if new content is still being added to the gacha game.
Dragalia Lost will be kept alive until November 30. However, certain features of the game will no longer be usable. These features are all related to purchasing in-game items, such as premium currency.
As of now, you can no longer purchase premium items, but you can still spend them in-game. Please note that you can only use premium currency until October 31; the last month of the game will be pure gameplay.

It was a success
As far as Nintendo’s mobile games are concerned, Dragalia Lost was a success. While nothing Nintendo has made has reached the level of sales as Fire Emblem Heroes, Dragalia still raked in millions.
According to Sensor tower, the strategy gacha game brought in $146.4 million in revenue last year. Infinitely more popular in Japan, the game lacked the global appeal of Fire Emblem. However, it is still a significant success for mobile gaming.
Nevertheless, Nintendo is no longer interesting to maintain the game. Hopefully one day we will see the return of the Dragalia franchise. Perhaps someday DL will be remembered as a great mobile game.
