Diablo Immortal Out Now, No Cross-Server Play

Diablo Immortal has finally landed on the Play Store. The servers are live, it exists, you can download and play right away. The prophecy has been fulfilled. Or something.

However, there is one thing that you should definitely be aware of before downloading the game and starting to play, and that is that it uses specific servers. Think of it more like an MMO than a traditional Diablo game.

What does that mean in practice? Well, if you’re playing on one server and your friend on another, then you can’t join in and search dungeons together. It’s not the end of the world, but it does mean you need to talk to your friends if you want to team up.

This was all confirmed in a tweet by the Diablo Immortal Global Community Lead Adam Fletcher, which you can read by clicking here† The gist is – things may change in the future, but right now there is no server cross-play in Diablo Immortal.

If you still feel like trying the game, you can click here to download Diablo Immortal from play store† It’s free with IAP, and you’ll need about 12GB of space on your device to fully install it.
