Delete after reading is a new adventure from the developer behind Unmemory
Barcelona-based indie developer Patrones & Escondites has announced its latest creation. It’s called Delete After Reading and it will land on Android at some point in the not-too-distant future. You may recognize the developer as the team behind the excellent Unmemory.
The game sees you find a strange device with a file on it marked delete after reading – hey, that’s the name of the game! It’s all about trying to rewrite the mistakes Destiny made and having a lot of fun doing it.
You join a group of kids to sneak into a mansion and steal the only surviving copy of The Curse of Penguin Island, apparently one of the most influential games of all time. Here’s a short trailer. For Delete After Reading, not the made up game in the game.
There are five chapters to play through, and you’ll have to read a lot and pay attention to finish them all. There are plenty of puzzles to solve and the game jumps through genres with confidence.
So you’ve got a visual novel, escape room, point-and-click adventure, puzzle game, and more, all packed into a great-looking package that also includes a full voice cast.
Delete after reading looks very interesting and we are excited to get our hands on it. If we hear anything more about the game, we’ll be sure to let you know.
