Arida: Backland’s Awakening release date pushed back

We’ll start with the bad news: the release date for the great-looking survival adventure Arida: Backland’s Awakening has been postponed. We know it, we know it, it’s terrible.

But here’s the good news. It’s only been delayed for 15 days. Instead of landing on the Play Store on June 15 – which it clearly didn’t – the game will now arrive on June 30. So basically it’s only nine days if you don’t bother working things out.

The game is also coming to Android before it comes out on iOS, which is a rarity. But a nice rarity. The PC version has been out since 2019 and has pretty good reviews. Here’s a trailer.

The extra time has been used to make sure everything works as it should on touchscreen devices. That’s a good thing, because it’s really annoying when things don’t work the way they should. Not naming names and certainly not mocking our Chromecast.

Anyone who registers for the game before launch day will also receive some additional in-game goodies. So that’s lovely. If you haven’t pre-ordered Arida: Backland’s Awakening yet, you can do it by clicking here
